Day 1 Welcome at Lima’s airport and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon free to acclimatize and before dinner we will have a briefing about the tour and introduction. Lima - Westin Lima

Day 2 Day starts early as we will visit Lima´s historic center, including the main squares and plazas, Cathedral, historic buildings. After a lunch with typical Peruvian food we will have the afternoon to discover the new residential Lima neighborhoods of San Isidro and Miraflores. Time to visit the parks, the malecon with stunning ocean view to admire sunset. Return to hotel. Lima-Westin Lima-B L

Day 3 We will take a morning flight to Cusco. Arrive to Cusco mid-late morning and direct transfer to the Sacred Valley of the Incas (approx. 1,5 hour drive). Check in at hotel and rest of the afternoon to settle in from the long trips. We will give you and introduction to the Sacred Valley attractions for the following days. Lima-Cusco (flight 1.5 hour) Cusco-Sacred Valley (1.5 hour drive).-Tambo del Inka.- B L D

Day 4 After breakfast our adventure begins. We will start with a visit to the fantastic Inca complex of Pisac, continue with a visit around the local market and a delicious buffet lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the ruins in Moray to continue later with the salt mines that are just below the village of Maras. These mines are still fully operational and you will be able to see the “campesinos” working on them. Return to your hotel at the end of the afternoon.-Sacred Valley-Tambo del Inka-B L

Day 5 Today we will visit the impressive village and fortress of Ollantaytambo. We will discover how this fortress stood and was not defeated by the Spanish. After lunch we will visit a local community to interact with local native people. We can practice together some typical activities like food preparation, games or simply interact together in their activities. Return to your hotel at dinner time.-Sacred Valley-Tambo del Inka-B L

Day 6 Day starts early as we take you early in the morning to catch the 7h00 am train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. The train ride takes 1,5 hour as we go deeper into the eastern part of the Andes. The transfer into the train is done manually by lifting you from the ground into the train. We do have some equipment and techniques to make this transfer as less invasive as possible, as well as trained staff to do it. Once in the train, depending on your mobility level we can transfer you into a regular seat or remain in your wheelchair.

Arrive to Aguas Calientes around 9h00 am. Time to use a toilet and briefing about the Machu Picchu visit. We will be taking a bus for 20 minutes to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Similar procedure as the train ride, we will manually lifted you into the bus and with some equipment and staff make sure this procedure is done properly.

Once in Machu Picchu, around 10h00 am we will transfer you into our off road wheelchairs and you will have 2 assistants to guide you and take you into this marvelous Inca city. We have selected a path that includes 3 points to conquer some steps, but it provides an access into the city that you will remember for the rest of your life. For all the hike inside Machu Picchu we will provide assistance to go at your own rhythm to make sure you get the most out the visit. The visit to the city last approx. 3 hours. Around 13h00 pm we will come out of the city and enjoy a buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge hotel located in Machu Picchu. Time to share with friends the experience take some more pictures and around 15h00 pm we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes you have approx. 2,5 hours to get to know this cute little town, enjoy its main plaza and we will be boarding the 18h00 train back to Ollantaytambo. Arrive to your hotel around 21h00 for a well deserved rest Sacred Valley-Aguas Calientes-Machu Picchu-Aguas Calientes-Sacred Valley-Tambo del Inka-B L D

Day 7 Day to rest and recover from the long and active previous day. You can have a late breakfast, have some time to read and/or relax. At mid afternoon we will have the option of visiting Urubamba (near by town) to get to know the town or simply stay at the hotel.-Sacred Valley-Tambo del Inka-B

Day 8 Today we will start our journey back to Cusco. Have your camera ready because landscape is beautiful. Arrive to Cusco, lunch and check in hotel. In the afternoon we will visit to the Cathedral, over 450 years old, the Temple of the Sun, the Koricancha and have time on your own at the end of the afternoon.-Sacred Valley - Cusco Libertador- B L D

Day 9 Today we will visit the Sacsaywaman ruins which is probably one of the most impressive temples. Continue the day visting the ruins of Tambomachay and Quenco. The day includes a pic-nic for lunch and some time at the end to enjoy Cusco one more time Cusco and around Libertador- B L

Day 10 Today we take the plane back to Lima. Arrive to Lima, transfer to hotel and afternoon we will have the opportunity to visit the markets and interesting locations to try some of the famous cuisine. Last day in Peru. Farewell dinner.-Cusco - Lima Westin- B L D

Day 11 Transfer to airport for departure.- Lima- B

About the tour:

Peru (Lima and Cusco) program is a tour that combines a bit of adventure, culture, nature and leisure.

It is an all-inclusive basis tour. Transportation, accommodation, guide and activities included.

Hotels throughout the tour present an excellent level of accessibility. All have roll in showers

Transportation for the tour: IW provides a VAN with portable ramps. Individual or assisted manual transfer into seats is required and also manual lifting is required to go into the train and bus to Machu Picchu.

Re guides, IW provides bilingual certified guides for all activities throughout the tour.

Re assistants or help. We do recommend clients to use a manual chair, since the entire country is not 100% accessible, therefore we will provide one assistant per client to assist with the wheelchair when needed. This will only be for tours and activities, NOT personal activities or duties
